Analysis of Steelhead Enumeration Data from Moricetown Canyon, 2005-2007
This projects provided information about steelhead escapement in the Buckley River from 2005 to 2007 by supporting analysis of data collected in previous years by Wet’suwet’en Fisheries’ Moricetown Canyon steelhead mark-recapture program. The Moricetown program has operated annually since 1999 to generate annual abundance estimates for steelhead migrating past the Moricetown Canyon falls, but data had not been analysed since 2004. Data collected between 2005 and 2007 was analysed to produce estimates of escapement and run timing.
